In a world in which
there is virtually no aspect of commercial
life that is unaffected by information
technology it is not often that you encounter
individuals with both a "hands-on"
understanding of IT but also a sound
appreciation of commercial issues.
Furthermore, it is probably true to say that
businesses that are not harnessing information
technology to their advantage, whether as part
of their internal systems, their interface
with clients/customers or through their
web-presence, are going to be losing out to
their competitors.
I consider that my
training and experience make me well placed to
bridge this divide.

Good written and
verbal communication skills and comfortable
